Meet Our Team

ChemTrack’s team includes project managers, environmental engineers, geologists, chemists, environmental scientists, site safety and health officers, site quality control specialists, sampling technicians and operators and laborers. The matrix of professionals and skilled labor provides functionality and reliability to our clients.

Family History

Our President, Carrie Jokiel and Site Superintendent Chris McDonnell are second-generation “ChemTrackians.” Their fathers, Sig Jokiel, ChemTrack founder, and Ward McDonnell, Site Superintendent, worked together for years at ChemTrack and have shared their institutional knowledge with their now adult children. Chris McDonnell and Jimi McAllen, Contract Administrator / Office Manager have each been with the company for over 20 years.

We have a dedicated field team that work tirelessly each season and we also firmly believe in local hire. We offer training for employee certifications and it is a priority to rent local equipment, stay in local housing, and hire local cooks and bear guards. All of this combined, bring years of communication, leadership and know-how to each project. The combination of local respect and ingenuity has created a workforce culture who truly enjoys what we do to prevent negative environmental impacts, restore our remote areas to their original pristine conditions and work together with our clients that share our passion the State of Alaska.
