8(a) Women Owned Small Businesses

The program is designed to help more women owned small businesses to win federal contracts by providing a level playing field for WOSBs to compete.  It is also intended to help federal agencies to meet contracting goals for women owned small businesses.

That is, in accordance with legislatively established government-wide contracting goals, federal agencies are supposed to award at least 5% of all prime contract dollars awarded each year to women-owned small businesses.  This program helps agencies achieve the women’s contracting goal.

ChemTrack is designated as an Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB).

8(a) Sole Source eliminates time consuming process of RFP development, waiting for contractor responses, evaluation all submission, and mitigates potential protests.

ChemTrack, as an 8(a) EDWOSB, can receive sole source awards up to $4.5 Million, per project.

Successs

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate the beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!
