DECOMMISSIONING

FAA, Moose Point, Alaska

ChemTrack decommissioned two 5,000 gallon diesel tanks at former Moose Point NDB in Cook Inlet. ChemTrack disposed of tanks, concrete footings, wood saddles and DRO contaminated soil. The site was accessible by landing craft or aircraft only. Cook Inlet has a tidal range of 30 FT. ChemTrack ADEC Qualified Person guided excavation with PID and took confirmational samples.
