DESIGN BUILD PREFABRICATED MODULARIZED METAL STRUCTURE AND REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

O’Malley Sports Centre, Anchorage, AK

Design-Build, 65,000 sf, Prefabricated Modularized Metal Structure, and Refrigeration System Supporting Twin NHL Size Ice Surfaces, an elite athletic training facility, a 900 ft elevated running track, multipurpose room and restaurant. 
The refrigeration system consisted of a R717 Flooded type chiller, three compressors and an evaporative condenser. Calcium chloride in a polyethylene system supplies the refrigeration system under both 85x200 ice surfaces.
